Originally from sunny California, Craig Michael Beck currently resides in Savannah, GA and is often asked if people ever tell him he looks like Edward Norton.

His communication coaching business, Short On Vowels, focuses on helping High School and College students improve their speaking and writing skills, increases their confidence and competence in public presentations, and encourages them to dream BIG and become better than they ever imagined possible. Working adults who may not be familiar or comfortable making presentations in the workplace also benefit from professional coaching at any age.

The idea of Short on Vowels was birthed at a local Toastmasters meeting and is backed by over 25 years of experience in sales and customer service based professions. The simple fact 99% of all words in the English language require at least one vowel means you will be speechless if you're Short on Vowels.

An aspiring actor, inspiring motivational speaker, and engagingly light hearted yet serious teacher and trainer, his students rave about his quick wit and passion for transferring knowledge, his ability to use highly relevant individualized examples, and his unquenchable desire to help students learn, grow and thrive.

A painfully shy child, more comfortable with books than people, Craig credits his love of reading and language entirely to his parents who showed him you can instantly go anywhere and learn anything by opening a book.

He ultimately broke from his introverted academic shell and graduated with a BA in Psychology, just 12 short years after obtaining his PHD in the School of Hard Knocks.

Craig and his wife Parker have 11 wonderful children together: Six canine and five feline.
